Commission adopts Action Plan TODAY!

Today, on the eve of European Antibiotic Awareness Day, Commissioner Dalli in a joint press conference with Commissioner Geoghegan-Quinn and the ECDC Director, Marc Sprenger, presented the newly adopted Communication on Antimicrobial resistance (AMR). In a holistic approach cutting across several sectors, this comprehensive, 5-year Action Plan aims to tackle the growing problem of AMR through 12 concrete actions.
